Police in Pakistan are beefing up security for Christians as the minority community prepares to celebrate Christmas. Christians across Pakistan face a sense of uncertainty this year as their community has been targeted by extremists during past holidays.
“Along with patrols and search operations, we will do mock exercises at churches declared sensitive,” Police Captain Mustansir Feroz told UCA News. Feroz further explained that CCTV cameras were being installed at specific locations to monitor suspicious activities.
