The Institute on Religion and Democracy (IRD) hosted a global Christian persecution summit, “Why Christians Don’t Care About Christians,” in the Dirksen Senate Office Building on Thursday, May 10. US Ambassador-at-large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback delivered the opening remarks.
Journalists, academics, activists, and others joined IRD staff at the event to hear from a range of respected experts encouraging American Christians to advocate on behalf of persecuted Christians overseas.
