NIGERIA – Dire appeal for U.S. to help Nigeria’s persecuted Christians

NE News Now | Dec. 4, 2018

A group of organizations concerned about Christian persecution around the world are calling attention to the dire situation that has been unfolding for some time in Nigeria.

Many are calling the carnage going on in the west African nation “pure genocide.”

Save the Persecuted Christians Coalition Director Dede Laugesen points out that it is predominantly Christians in the country who are under attack.

“More than 21,000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria – 6,000 of them this year by Boko Haram and Fulani militants, 900 churches burned,” Laugesen divulged. “Almost every single day, something is happening in Nigeria.”
