Breaking | “Pray for Leah Rally” confirmed!
Save the Persecuted Christians made the announcement on Friday, September 20, via a press release to advisory board members that a “Pray for Leah Rally” will be held at the US Capitol in Washington.
In June, the International Commitee on Nigeria led by Mr. Stephen Enada hosted a “truth squad” referred to by Save the Persecuted Christians, a partner in the campaign as a “Nigerian Crisis Delegation“. The delegation included Rebecca Sharibu, mother to Leah, an ISWAP/Boko Haram captive, who testified before stakeholders in Washington, D.C. about the genocide of Christians in Nigeria.
Rebecca Sharibu mother to Leah Sharibu (Boko Haram captive) was also welcomed by Vice President, Mike Pence, USAID, USCIRF and Congress. Ms. Sharibu would return to Washington for a “Pray for Leah Rally” scheduled 1 pm ET, Oct. 26, at the Reflecting Pool, US Capitol.
